Affordable Digital surveillance Solutions for Personal security

If you are involved about home security, it may be a good idea to use digital cameras to safeguard your home. Many digital cameras are now very affordable and easy to set up and use. They can supply an uncostly deterrent to burglary and home invasion. A would-be intruder who sees that your home is guarded by watch cameras will definitely think twice about targeting your property, when there are others that afford less risk in breaking in. Furthermore, if person does break into your home, the watch principles will capture evidence of the break-in that can be used for assurance and legal purposes, and aid in the capture of the miscreants.

I am currently using a digital watch camera that is marketed as the Cyber Eye. I found that it was straightforward to install this type of camera around the house, and the units were very convenient to cope as they were so small--a single camera is just a slight over three inches in length. The slight size makes for perfect portability. The Cyber Eye captures black and white images and is activated by movement in front of the lens. It automatically records when it detects request for retrial and saves the images in its digital memory. It also has infrared capabilities, which allows it to detect and capture request for retrial even in the dark of night. When you want to see what images the camera has recorded, you can attach it to your television and Vcr to play back the captured images.

You can also set up the camera to automatically capture images every few seconds. The time interval between image captures can be set from 1 to 60 seconds in duration. The camera can description up to a maximum of 680 digital images when programmed in this way.

Another digital watch explication I have tried is Visec watch Software. This is a agenda that allows you to turn your personal computer into a security video monitoring system. The software plainly adds watch features to a computer that is attached to a web cam or digital camera. Up to four cameras can be connected straight through the Usb ports on your computer and used for surveillance. Then plainly join together your computer to the web using a fast Internet connection. You can then entrance the watch video recorded by the cameras to the computer and view it from your laptop everywhere where there is wireless Internet access.

There are two possibilities for the receiver - digital receiver, digital tuner with USB and RCA component outputs. The USB receiver allows you to record directly to your computer's hard drive and feeds of streaming video for remote monitoring over the Internet. The receiver allows you to RCA Component video connection to external monitoring / recording source (eg, DVR, VCR, TV, etc..) This article assumes the use of the USB receiver, because since it is not connected to the computerComputer using the software is not required if the RCA receiver.

If the device, the camera / transmitter and the receiver have been "coupled" (synchronized) to enter the factory, so it's set up for you right out of the box. If you want to use more than one camera / transmitter, you have to pair multiple devices manually. Contact technical support for assistance to couples devices. Note: You should perform no more than 2 unitsat the same time to avoid interference. You can receive feeds of up to 2 units with 1 receiver, but you can only record one camera at it that way. If you want to record 2 feeds at once, each camera / transmitter will need a special receiver connected to a dedicated computer. You can not connect two receivers on the same computer without conflict. If you want to run more than 2, we recommend all our SleuthGear Covert HVR (Hidden Video Recorder) systems that are equipped with an internal DVRSo take your recordings on an SD card hidden.
